iP Series
The iP Series is Weintek's commonly used economical/general-purpose HMI product line, suitable for standard machinery equipment, control cabinets and general human-machine interface applications. Field replacement often involves products of the same size but different generations, so the complete part number, cutout size, interface and software compatibility need to be checked.
The MT prefix, size/platform code and iP suffix in the iP part number need to be left intact. When selecting, check actual screen size, resolution, CPU/memory, number of Ethernet and COM ports, front panel protection, and EasyBuilder Pro support. Similar MT80xx numbers do not mean identical interfaces or dimensions.

Why is the complete part number required when requesting a quote for iP Series?
Models within iP Series may differ in electrical ratings, construction, interfaces or accessories. For example, MT8052iP, MT8072iP, MT8106iP are distinct configurations and cannot be interchanged on the series name alone. Using the complete part number substantially reduces mismatch risk.
How should iP Series be confirmed when used as spare parts for installed equipment?
For installed-base MRO involving iP Series, provide the original part number, nameplate photo, equipment application and quantity. We first verify the existing model and critical specifications, then check whether the original remains available.
