The Altivar Soft Starter ATS480 is one of the main successor platforms to the ATS48. Schneider's replacement documentation covers not only the current rating, but also mechanical installation, electrical connections, configuration, communications and firmware differences, so the replacement should be understood as a controlled migration rather than a simple swap of the same current model.
