Series Overview
Series Overview
OMRON fiber optic sensing usually consists of an amplifier and an E32 fiber optic head. E3NX-FA is an intelligent fiber amplifier product line. E32 includes through-beam, reflection, coaxial, lens-mounted and environment-resistant fiber heads; the "amplifier + fiber head" must be matched.
Part-number Structure & Selection Notes
First select the E32 optical fiber head according to the detection object and installation space, and then confirm the amplifier function, output type and response speed. The N, P, length and other suffixes in the complete E32 model must be retained; new projects can be confirmed as E3NX-FA + E32 combination first, and old E3X-HD11 / 41 need to be checked according to compatibility conditions.

There are many models of E32 fiber optic heads. You cannot select based on the "detection distance" alone; you must also confirm the detection method, head size, bending radius, environmental resistance requirements and the fiber optic amplifier.
Specifications must be confirmed against the applicable official datasheet and ordering information. Regional variants, suffixes and configurations are not automatically interchangeable.
FAQ
Frequently Asked Questions
How do I confirm the complete part number for E3NX-FA/E32 fiber optic sensing system?
First select the E32 optical fiber head according to the detection object and installation space, and then confirm the amplifier function, output type and response speed. The N, P, length and other suffixes in the complete E32 model must be retained; new projects can be confirmed as E3NX-FA + E32 combination first, and old E3X-HD11 / 41 need to be checked according to compatibility conditions.
What are the main differences between E32-T11N 2M and E32-T11R 2M?
construction: E32-T11N 2M is M4 threaded / right-angle, E32-T11R 2M is M4 / top-view. Verify the complete ordering code and project conditions before selection or replacement; the series name alone is not sufficient.
Which specifications matter most when selecting E3NX-FA/E32 fiber optic sensing system?
Key specifications to verify are sensing method, construction, typical uses. Match them against the equipment nameplate, drawing or original model, and retain every suffix, option and regional code in the complete ordering reference.
Why is the complete part number required when requesting a quote for E3NX-FA/E32 fiber optic sensing system?
Models within E3NX-FA/E32 fiber optic sensing system may differ in electrical ratings, construction, interfaces or accessories. For example, E32-T11N 2M, E32-T11R 2M, E32-LT11 2M are distinct configurations and cannot be interchanged on the series name alone. Using the complete part number substantially reduces mismatch risk.
