The complete ACS800 type code includes series, construction, rating and voltage class, for example ACS800-01-0011-3. Different voltage classes, structures and option codes cannot be interchanged based on appearance.

Is ACS800 the current product family of new projects?
ACS800 prefers installed-base/MRO value. New projects should evaluate ABB's current industrial drive platforms, such as the ACS880, based on the application.
Can the type code of ACS800 only look at the power?
No. Construction, voltage class, current rating and option codes all affect compatibility and full type designation should be provided.
Can I replace ACS800 with ACS880 and put it directly back to the original position?
Cannot default. Dimensions, terminals, control programs, fieldbus, braking and safety functions need to be checked.
What should I do if my old ACS800 cannot be found in stock?
You can first check the channel inventory of the original model and prepare a migration plan to avoid long-term downtime due to supply interruption of a single legacy part number.
